Le premier de ces trésors est incontestablement l’église Saint-Michel du XIIème siècle, de style typiquement pisan, située à l’entrée du village. Cet édifice, classé Monument Historique en 1875, se singularise par l’alternance de pierres de couleur verte et blanche, assemblées irrégulièrement, rappelant de nombreuses églises toscanes. Cette chapelle, qui selon la légende fut construite en une nuit par des anges, est aujourd’hui l'un des édifices religieux les plus photographiés de l’île. Il est également le point de départ de nombreuses randonnées.
L'église est ouverte du mardi au dimanche d'avril à octobre de 9h30 à 19h.

Serge, a chestnut grower, teaches you how to make chestnut flour (from harvesting to the finished product). We offer you more than just green tourism, a friendly exchange in a peaceful, warm and cheerful family atmosphere. We also welcome you for your banquets. In summer, we organize evening events for groups. If you don't want to walk, we'll bring you to the site.
